WHAT.
Determine the physiological tolerances of climate threatened tropical mountain plants to climates beyond those normally experienced in the wild.
WHY.
The ability of our target mountain plant species to survive the predicted climate extremes is currently unknown.
HOW.
A couple of our target plant species are being tested for their capacity to survive drought and high temperatures. This is complex and resource-intensive research, requiring detailed measurements over lengthy periods.
